I am a huge Simpsons fan but was a bit disappointed in the movie. I think Ratatouille will win hands down. Pixar really has great stories and the animation to back it up.

I would’ve taken TMNT over most of these bland and forgettable movies (not that TMNT was the greatest animated movie ever made). Another ho-hum year for theatrical animation.

That overrrated Rat will probably sweep. Anytime a movie is released with the Pixar brand on it, animation folks start jerking off all over it(and rightfully so, considering Pixar’s track record).

Might as well call them the Ratatouille awards, and rightfully so. It’s nice to see Julie Kavner getting some recognition for her voice work. I always feel like she never gets enough credit for her Marge.

the highlights are your choices, non?

i agree with the exception of the character design and janeane garofalo, (fine actress, didn’t know it was her until the credits) i think ian holm did a better job. after studying this movie i find her accent off (the dreaded american ‘R’s’).

don’t get me wrong, i’m condemning her performance based on her accent, just that holm was stronger.

so, yes. ratatouille across the board.
