Seriously? Jonah Hill drove me crazy in this movie. He was the worst part of it, for me. I felt like he was so over the top. Micheal Cera is a comedy genius, whose humor is difficult for some people to “get”. It is so dry that his comic “timing” is precisely the opposite. It is those awkward timing moments that he plays so well.

Interesting how I thought exactly the opposite of you on those two.

Got to see Superbad today. It’s funny, but I’m sorry, it’s not THAT funny. I liked it, but I don’t think it’s the funniest movie of the year(Hot Fuzz still holds that crown).

The 40 year old virgin, Knocked up … and now superbad. Just amazing how this group of guys can created such great films each time, and make them all different and unique.

On to superbad, the funniest film i have seen in a while (minus the two i mentioned above). It had this charm about loving the characters and a sense of understanding the them no matter who you are. Loved this film, loved it.

not gonna lie, superbad is the funniest movie in recent memory. and i loved me some knocked up, but damn, superbad is amazing.

the two audiences i have seen it with completely loved the shit out of it, in fact i havent even heard all of the dialogue yet after two viewings because of other peoples laughter.

seth rogen is the funniest man on the planet right now, and i congradulate him on his success, it makes me damn happy.

AND YOURE WRONG ABOUt BILL HADER, THE OTHER COP, FROM SNL, HE WAS DAMN GOOD JOHN.

in case you havent noticed, i absolutely loved the movie. go see it guys

Everyone in this movie was so damn charming and just made the humor and story that much more enjoyable. I have been thinking about seeing this again, and find that I am not the only one. Some people have been heading out to see it for the third time and beyond!

Getting this movie and Knocked Up in the same year doesn’t seem fair. one or the other would easily be the funniest movies I’d see in a given year.

I’m giving this a 10/10. I loved every second.

Managed to see a sneak screening last thursaday and I found it freaking hillarious, but what really sealed the deal for me was the messages behind the film which helped to really make it stand above most other comedies of its type. 8.5/10

i loved this film.

it is weird, i actually got some of the opposite impressions then you after seeing it.

1. i thought michael did a better job then jonah…i actually really dug michael’s sense of timing. it was obviously suppsoed to be jonah’s movie, but i thought he was just a touch to much. justa touch mind you.

2. i found seth rogan kind of distracting, not the other dude.

No offense John, but your review totally sucked the fun out of Superbad… but its a hard movie to review cuz its so damn funny and you have to talk seriousness about it. But damn am i glad i saw this movie and had a good audience crowd that was howling and clapping and it was to laugh so constantly through out the entire film. 2 thumbs up from me
