I always like to watch the end credits, not for extra stuff (though that’s always fun) but to see if I recognize production staff from other movies….it’s always fun to see a name I recognize and go, “Oh, they worked on yada yada yada”…I’ve seen a couple of times this dude named Kevin Smith on various stuff who part of transportation and whatever else he does.

Then we catch the advertising that says:
“Stay after the credits for the horrifying alternate ending that will haunt you for weeks!”

Well this was too good to pass up so we went and saw it again. The Horrifying Alternate Ending was a complete bag of crap. It was not horrifying it was gheytarded. It almost ruined the entire FIRST experience I had.

And for those who are wondering, yes I made my wife stay with me to the VERY end of 28 Weeks Later, which sadlt had nothing.

I saw that for the first time in 87 while on summer holiday in Spain. It was a really late night showing and there were about 5 people there (all older women) but my Mum took me because i was 4 years old and thus, into He-Man.

I remember very little about it except the very end. For whatever reason, we didn’t exit the screening until the very end of the end credits. I was about five feet from the exit door and suddenly Frank Langella (who was already scary as hell as Skeletor), on a giant screen, booms at me that he will be back.

I didn’t get much sleep that night.

“We apologise for the fault in the subtitles. Those responsible have been sacked.”

“We apologise again for the fault in the subtitles. Those responsible for sacking the people who have just been sacked, have been sacked.”

“The directors of the firm hired to continue the credits after the other people had been sacked, wish it to be known that they have just been sacked. The credits have been completed in an entirely different style at great expense and at the last minute.

The actual credits in “Pan’s Labyrinth”. There are some interesting names in the Special Thanks section.

“Gridiron Gang” – not a particularly good film but the end credits were peppered with real clips from the documentary. Made for an interesting comparison.

“The Transformers” bit which people have mentioned was pretty funny.

“300” – the end credits art for the main characters was outstanding. Should have been used in the opening credits.

Can’t think of any more at the moment.

And there was one comedy.. the credits had
Best Boy — name
Worst Boy — Adolf Hitler

Amongst others.

Even if I know they’re there, I don’t bother to stay anymore because they’re either not funny (most blooper stuff shown now is pretty bad), or not interesting.

After all the hype about The X-men3 ending, I found that it was a complete waste of my time.

I liked the clip they showed at the end of Little Buddha nothing speical but it was nice.
