Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor (Directors of Crank) talk Pathology

Mark-Brian-John-Md

Hey there guys! Wow, last night (Tuesday) Doug and I had an amazing time. First we went over to Lakeshore Entertainment (the studio that produced Underworld, Million Doallar Baby, Crank and a ton of other films) to visit with our friend Brendan over there and get caught up on the new movies Lakeshore has in the pipe,

THEN, we headed over to this great little bar in Santa Monica to hang out with Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor, the writers and directors of the Jason Statham movie “Crank” (that’s them in the picture with me). We hung out for a couple of hours with them… they are SERIOUSLY funny guys. We had a very good time with them… hell… they even bought the beer… I’m a fan for life (I’m so cheap)

During our visit Mark talked a bit about his hockey playing days at some spots up in Canada (like Kitchener and Perterborough) and we chatted a bit about their new film that they wrote and are producing called “Pathology”. This movie sounds amazing, and from what they tell us, it’s going to be “non-stop”. Now, when the guys who already did Crank tell you that… then that’s a reason to get a bit excited.

For those of you who may not already know, the movie already has Milo Ventimiglia (Peter from my second favorite TV show Heroes) and Alyssa Milano set to star. The story centers on a group of medical students who devise a competition to see who can commit a crime that even their fellow pathologists could not figure out. Nice.

The duo also hinted at another potential movie they may have in the works… but I’ll wait until they join us on a LIVE edition of Uncut in the next couple of weeks to reveal that. Whhheeeee!

Damn, I can’t wait for this Pathology flick.
