Throughout the entire movie it felt like he was trying too hard. He wanted you to try to feel for the character but for me it worked just the opposite. By the second half I found Nick to be annoying and uninteresting.

There were some characters who didnt need to be there (Female police officer)and some characters who were neglected.

The kid’s performance didnt bother me at all. He actually did a very decent job. His dialouge was really poor though. So if anything John you have to blame poor writing for his scenes.

The only real decent thing about this movie was it’s soundtrack. Which I though was fantastic.
