Also if Favreau was casting his friends where is Vince Vaughn? And the rest of the cast of Swingers? he’s casting big names in big roles, and throwing in a guy who hasn’t played a major role in anything as the bad guy (theoretically Rodney did admit to a bit of forecasting). Let’s try some optimism at least until the trailer comes out.

I hate it when director’s abuse their position. Hopefully the script is stronger (a LOT stronger!) than the (mis)cast.

With a little bit of makeup, Toub could pass for Mandrin. Hey, they could do a Joel Grey type thing (when Grey played Chin in 1985’s ‘Remo Williams’) I suppose…

Taub also appeared in ‘Crash’- he was the storeowner whose store was vandalized.
This isn’t his first comics related role: also had a recurring role on “Lois & Clark” as ‘Asabi’.
