Len Wiseman is a great director no matter what can people say. I am a Underworld fan because of what he gave to the movie : life. I don’t know Die hard a all, but I think you guys should be relieved that Len is going to dorect the project. Unfortunately, because of thet, he won’t direct UW 3. You are lucky ;)

I must be one of the few people out there that really liked “Underworld”. I’ll admit, it was lacking story but I enjoyed (and continue to enjoy) it for everything else. I’m looking forward to this. I think it has potential.

You say Wiseman did a bad job writing it, not directing it? Surely good directing is knowing when the writing is complete shit? Die Hard does not need to have a complex story or anything but the script needs to be tight and we need to care about John McClane. Just putting Bruce Willis in a vest won’t do it. For me this guy was the Worst Case Scenario. I’d even take the bad Paul Anderson over this guy, at least he’s made something watchable (Event Horizon, Soldier).

Internet terrorists and Len Wiseman have sealed it. I don’t give a damn about this movie. I have no idea what they saw in him. Was he cheap? Die Hard will be a HUGE money maker and they give it to the guy who’s done nothing but two of the most critically-panned movies of the last five years. Brilliant.

oh, yeah. if i remember correctly, script was originally called ww3.com, or something like that (it was a spec that had nothing to do with die hard). terrorists try to shut down the internet globally. script was picked up as the next die hard and has been in development for a couple years

if i remember correctly – this was 2 yrs ago. back then i thought dh4 was just talk. guess not.

Regardless if the Underworld helmer does this or not, before or after his Underworld prequel, I said it before, and I’ll say it again. If Bonnie Bedila isn’t in this even so much as a cameo, I’m not in the theatre. I do not care.

Yeah, that really is the title. I think the “4.0” is reflective of the story. He fights people who use the internet to spread their terrorism.

agree – no story in underworld – i walked out on the first one and didn’t bother with the second one – story is king
