I think George Lucas deserves a Best Movie award and overall he did a good job as director.

There’s nothing wrong with Hayden Christensen’s performance (I liked it) but probably not the best award winning performance for this particular movie.

I won’t be watching the Academy Awards. I wish the Saturn Awards would be televised. My favorites aren’t nominatied for Oscars and it doesn’t look like they will even be represented by any of the actor’s appearing at the Academy Awards.

I don’t think the absence of any loud protest on behalf of Star Wars should be misinterpreted. The Academy Awards have boxed themselves into a corner with this snub and their hipocrisy will be evident in years to come. I think real fans and movie fans in general are hurt or just left feeling helpless over the whole thing. I wish I knew how to let the Academy Awards people know just how I feel.
