entourage’s Adrian Grenier is moving up in the world. Acording to The Hollywood Reporter, Grenier has landed a gig with Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt and Meryl Streep in The Devil Wears Prada.
Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep and Emily Blunt already have boarded the adaptation of Lauren Weisberger’s best-seller, which is set at a cutthroat fashion magazine in Manhattan. Hathaway will play the assistant of a nightmare boss (Streep). Grenier has signed on to play Nate, the love interest of Hathaway’s character. David Frankel will direct from an Aline Brosh McKenna-penned screenplay.
entourage is my new favorite TV series, it’s has extremly funny and creative moments -like Bob Saget smoking bongs with hookers- and this show alone has brought me to respect Grenier. Still to early to be all Nostrodamuse like about his future, but a few big projects will pave the way.
Not only is the participation of Grenier bringing my attention to this movie, but Anne Hathaway is as well. The young girl from The Princess Diaries has been in some saucy roles, I bring your attenion to Havoc were she played a sex pot teen who messes with the wrong crowd -pretty much Kids but instead of punk rock raver’s, its with slutty hores-. So my unintentional dirty thoughts gravitated me towards The Devil Wears Prada as well.
