Looks like we’re being treated to two Angel characters in the new X-Men 3, according to Comic Book Movie:
“Cayden Boyd will play the young Archangel in 20th Century Fox’s ‘X3’, directed by Brett Ratner. Ben Foster will play the adult version of the same X-Men character. Boyd recently starred in ‘The Adventures of Shark Boy and Lava Girl in 3-D’ and is scheduled to star as the title character in ‘West Texas Children’s Story’, with lensing scheduled for fall.”…
…Meanwhile, the part of Warren ‘Angel’ Worthington’s father has yet to be cast.
Boyd is currently in The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl in 3D and Ben Foster was memorable in Hostage. Sounds to me that they’re both pretty good castings and that we might see something more than a sidelines glance at the character. I tell you the more I hear about this movie the more confused I am, is it going to be the last or not? Perhaps just the last for the cast we know?

They should not put the Angel story into X-3, they should make it it’s own movie like a spin-off or something. As I said before, just to write a decent summary on the Achangel would take up a whole page maybe even more. And to put him into a movie, damn near impossible. He would have his own trilogy seperate from the X-Men movies. This movie is either going to surprise us all and be really really good, or it will just suck so bad the fans will start ripping the seats apart and burn down the theatre. And with comic books fans i’m not exagerating that possiblity, IT COULD HAPPEN; just like with anything I suppose, but still. 3 is my lucky number, but after this movie i’m not to sure it will.
