You have to ask youself…what is the point of running your movie against the Star-Wars behemoth…I guess it is supposed to be some sort of counterprogramming or something like it…I doubt Schraders version will get a very wide release and probably no marketing beyond some newpaper ads.

They should have went directly to DVD with the Schrader version…At the same time as Harlin’s version appeared on DVD…

All props to Schrader for getting his movie into the theatres, but I’m damn impatient to see this, and could have seen it months ago if they had put it out on DVD…Hey, they probably would have sold a few more of Harlin’s piece of crap if they bundled it with the Shrader version…

I’m curious to see how they will explain the premise of this film to the public in the advertisements. It essentially is an alternate reality version prequel.

Yeah, it’ll probably hit the figures for Schrader’s version, although ironically it puts him in a win-win situation: if it does well, then he is proved right; if it does badly, then he can blame the stupid release date.

I haven’t seen the other version. What would people recommend – seeing Harlin’s version first, or Schrader’s?

Kind of curious, because I am looking forward to seeing Schraeder’s Excorcist than I am Revenge of the Sith.

The last two Staw Wars Movies sucked big time and Sith looks to be more of the same. A lot of eye candy with nothing more.
