ITS A BIG BIG SHAME THAT WITH THE AMOUNT OF MONEY THAT MOVIE COMPANIES THROW AT SUPPOSEDLY SAFE, RUN-OF-THE MILL POPCORN HORROR/SCI FI FODDER WEVE BEEN GETTING RECENTLY,( AND YOUR NOT TELLING ME THAT THEY ALL MAKE A PROFIT) THAT THEY WOULD DO THE SAME FOR A FRANCHISE THAT COULD QUITE POSSIBLY BE (IN THE EYES OF THE BEAN COUNTERS) A SUCCESSFUL FILM VENTURE. ITS NOT LIKE THEY WOULDNT KNOW WHAT THEY WERE GETTING FOR THEIR MONEY…………
AND WE THE FANS WOULD BE REWARDED(AND JMS NOT FORGETTING) WITH THE CONTINUATION OF ONE OF THE SCI FI GREATS OF THE LAST 20 YEARS.

If Firefly can make it to the big screen, there is absolutely no reason that a big screen B5 film couldn’t work. At the very least, it would be nice to see the B5 Universe live on with a series of films on the Sci-Fi Channel, or even a decent series. Having said that, it may just be time for JMS and the fans to move on, because both of the B5 series that spun off of the original didn’t come close to capturing the magic of the original.
