John Rhys-Davies to do Voice Work in Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith?

rhys-davies.jpgAs I mentioned in a previous post, Gary Oldman backed out of doing the voice for General Grievous in the upcoming Star Wars – Revenge of the Sith. However, it looks like another fine actor is stepping up to the plate to fill the robotic shoes left behind. AICN is reporting that John Rhys-Davies hinted at a recent Sci-Fi convention in Brisbane that he is going to be giving the vocal life to Grevious.

Ok, I was disapointed about Oldman’s exit from the project… but at the same time I’d be thrilled if Davies actually steps in. I’ve always loved this guy ever since Radiers of the Lost Ark. Let’s see if this one pans out.

  1. Well… to be fair… Skywalker? Darth Maul?Really, the names have always been kind Satruday Afternoon Cereal-ish. The main question is if the character is going to be any good or not… I don’t really care about the names. But that’s just me.

  2. I still think “General Grievous” is the most retarded name I’ve ever heard. I think Lucas’imaginative well has finally run dry.

Maybe if he makes 7-9, we’ll have someone named “Main Character”. Wouldn’t that be swell?
