I really liked how it had more of an Eastern presentation. The Hulk green bushes in the desert in the beginning, lots of symbolism and deep relational issues. It was a smart superhero movie and that made it different and in some ways, better than other hero movies. I was entertained and challenged at the same time.

I agree completely. It's a very different take on a comic book movie, and that's why it works. Heck, if you take out all the comic book elements, you still have an interesting movie about a dysfunctional family and how we learn to cope with trauma.

the hulk was a great movie. how can you not like the slow build up to where he goes nuts fighting the tanks and commanches (must amit that it lost me with the end battle with his old man). it's funny as Eric Bana is on re-runs of some old aussie soap in the after noon here and it's hard to beleive that he has grown to the super start he is today. I really hope they and get him, jennifer connelly and sam elliott back again for the new one.
