Having recently escorted the queen of England to the olympics Daniel Craig’s next appearance as Bond certainly has a leg up when it comes to publicity. With Skyfall just a few months away we are treated to this excellent trailer showcasing all the things that make Bond the premier gentleman spy.
Trains, chicks, Q and a dare I say more classic Bond villain in Javier Bardem. What more can we ask for?
When Oscar Diggs (James Franco), a small-time circus magician with dubious ethics, is hurled away from dusty Kansas to the vibrant Land of Oz, he thinks he’s hit the jackpot—fame and fortune are his for the taking—that is until he meets three witches, Theodora (Mila Kunis) Evanora (Rachel Weisz) and Glinda (Michelle Williams), who are not convinced he is the great wizard everyone’s been expecting. Reluctantly drawn into the epic problems facing the Land of Oz and its inhabitants, Oscar must find out who is good and who is evil before it is too late. Putting his magical arts to use through illusion, ingenuity—and even a bit of wizardry—Oscar transforms himself not only into the great and powerful Wizard of Oz but into a better man as well.
Sam Raimi’s prequel to The Wizard of Oz may not have cowardly lions but it does have a swarming flock of flying monkeys and really isnt that all you need?
Take a stroll down the yellow brick road my friends.
Does your inner child long to see this Batman Begins of fairly tales?
THE EXPENDABLES are back and this time it’s personal…
Barney Ross (Sylvester Stallone), Lee Christmas (Jason Statham), Yin Yang (Jet Li), Gunnar Jensen (Dolph Lundgren),Toll Road (Randy Couture) and Hale Caesar (Terry Crews) — with newest members Billy the Kid (Liam Hemsworth) and Maggie (Yu Nan) aboard — are reunited when Mr. Church (Bruce Willis) enlists the Expendables to take on a seemingly simple job. The task looks like an easy paycheck for Barney and his band of old-school mercenaries. But when things go wrong and one of their own is viciously killed, the Expendables are compelled to seek revenge in hostile territory where the odds are stacked against them. Hell-bent on payback, the crew cuts a swath of destruction through opposing forces, wreaking havoc and shutting down an unexpected threat in the nick of time — six tons of weapons-grade plutonium; enough to change the balance of power in the world. But that’s nothing compared to the justice they serve against the villainous adversary who savagely murdered their brother.
Released last week the trailer for RZA’s debut film ‘Man with the Iron Fists’ has arrived and it more than lives up to the badass poster and image from the other day.
Quentin Tarantino presents The Man With the Iron Fists, an action-adventure inspired by kung-fu classics as interpreted by his longtime collaborators RZA and Eli Roth. Making his debut as a big-screen director and leading man, RZA—alongside a stellar international cast led by Russell Crowe and Lucy Liu—tells the epic story of warriors, assassins and a lone outsider hero in nineteenth-century China who must unite to destroy the clan traitor who would destroy them all.

It wasnt long ago that the above plot for Neil Blomkamp’s Elysium was revealed and now theres yet another picture to go with it.
Set in the year 2159, where the very wealthy lives on a man-made space station while the rest of population reside on a ruined Earth, a man takes on a mission that could bring equality to the polarized worlds
Loving the look of the hardware both the exoskeleton(?) and the “Chemrail”, with the movie not releasing until Q1 of next year crumbs such as this is all we are getting.
From the producer behind “Wedding Crashers” comes “Hit and Run” starring Dax Shepard, Kirsten Bell and Bradley Cooper.
Check it out.
Synopsis:Former getaway driver Charlie Bronson jeopardizes his Witness Protection Plan identity in order to help his girlfriend get to Los Angeles. The feds and Charlie’s former gang chase them on the road.
You need to wait til August 17th to see the movie but you can enjoy the final poster for The Expendables 2 right now. The cast framed with fire, it doesn’t get much more badass than this.

The zombie apocalypse happened — and we won. But though society has recovered, the threat of infection is always there — and Los Angeles coroner Tommy Rossman is the man they call when things go wrong.
Zombies are something of a dead horse these days but that does not stop “spoiler” from being well done well acted and most of all an awsome short. The only thing I didn’t like was that it ended after what felt like five minutes. If you have 17 minutes to spare make sure you check it out.
HOUSE AT THE END OF THE STREET, the upcoming thriller starring Jennifer Lawrence, Elisabeth Shue and Max Thieriot. When Elissa begins a relationship with the boy next door, the closer they get, the deeper they’re all pulled into a mystery more dangerous than they ever imagined.
Watching the trailer thoughts automatically go to horror films from Asia specifically Ringu. Jennifer Lawrence impressed me in “The Hunger Games” hopefully she can do the same with “House at the end of the street”.
A while back we posted a trailer for an indie film called Cockroaches, what we didn’t tell you is that the film hasn’t been made, there was only a trailer. Fan funded films(games/inventions/etc) are all the rage these days and I for one think its an awesome way to fund a project. If you have a dollar or more to spare and want to see this movie made head over to their kickstarter page!
Check out what producer/actor Ryan de Quintal has to say about the project and some of the perks that comes with backing Cockroaches!
Here are some of the perks you can get from funding the film:
[REWARD 1] 1) A thank you credit for backing this film on both the official website and all over social media (where we tag your name if we find you). 2) A digital collection of: official cockroaches posters, wallpapers, and production stills (approx. 100 photos).
If you woke up this morning and said “man I wish Adam Sandler would voice an animated Dracula in a comedic setting”.
Well then my friend you are in luck! Enjoy.
With a voice cast that includes Steve Buscemi, Kevin James, David Spade and nails on a chalk board Fran Drescher in addition the Adam Sandler. I feel fairly confident in saying that this actually looks good.
Universal Pictures has pushed back its samurai action drama 47 Ronin from a November 21, 2012 release date to February 8, 2013.
There were rumors that reshoots were taking place, although the studio denies those claims. Universal insiders say the movie is being delayed to perfect its 3D presentation. And so that they can debut trailers during the holiday season.
Keanu Reeves, Rinko Kikuchi, and Tadanobu Asano star in director Carl Rinsch’s latest adventure, about a group of 18th Century samurai warriors who seek to avenge the death of their master.
As of now, 47 Ronin will square off against the Relativity Media romance Safe Haven on February 8, 2013.
47 Ronin has been placed firmly on my radar after news broke that Keanu Reeves was cast. Initially of course I was a bit baffled that they choose Keanu to star next to an all asian cast and not because I dislike Keanu Reeve’s acting quite the contrary. For whatever reason I am very forgiving when it comes to films with Keanu, I like seeing him in movies. I want to say it’s from seeing him shooting his 9mm in the air in frustration as he allows Patrick Swayze to slip over the fence and out of reach. But then again this was a long time ago and I was a kid… Sigh can it have been Johnny Mnemonic that cemented Keanu on a pedestal? Damn you young Erik.
A fantastic mashup of various things gives us The Avengers of 1978. I love the fact they use Hawkeye from M.A.S.H. and Peter Wyngarde as Tony Stark is genius.
The Avengers together for the first time in this 1978 made for TV movie.. They face off with their greatest foe yet… KISS, under the power of Loki, played by Paul Lynde.
While my comic knowledge is miniscule compared to that of Ryan and Tony’s much to the latters dismay, I have improved quite a bit and find myself incrementally more interested in most things comic book related. This is largely due to how awsome AMC’s Comic Book Men really is but also the ridicule Tony throws my way! Which leads me into something of a rant, I will be seeing The Avengers at the premier this Friday (Swedish premier date is 27th). However I am not the one who will be reviewing the film for TMB, my viewing will be with friends and I don’t intend to write anything more than a comment or two on Tony’s review.
This brings me to my “complaint” TMB much due to Tony’s insatiable lust for this film has at times been damn near a billboard for The Avengers. Which is perfectly fine, it’s a huge film and a popular topic but while I am seeing the film this friday the person to review the film is not.
What do you say big wigs, is there any love for TMB?
See I did not have any GI:JOE toys as a kid, mostly He-Man’s and Transformers. There is no feeling of nostalgia or built-in knowledge about the franchise. To me its all “shiny face”, “ninja guy” and I leer every time they say Joe’s.
Normally I would have waited for Tony or one of the other guys to grab the email with the trailer but we are roughly an hour forty out from his usual Good morning/Good afternoon IM that I get each day. I couldn’t make you fine people wait for that and instead I bring you this badass looking trailer with Willis, The Rock, guns, explosions and one liners. Go.
Synopsis: When Cobra spy Zartan has most of the Joes assassinated, the remaining Joes band together to strike back.
