End of June must see movies isn’t as strong as it was earlier in the month, but there are a few cool selections. Here are the must see Blu-ray/DVD, VOD and limited theatrical releases for the week of June 27. This is a short list, but still you should check them out.
CHIPS:
Gone are days of Erik Estrada patrolling the California coasts on a motorcycle, instead, enter the hilarious duo of Dax Shepard and Michael Pena. In this movie version of the popular TV show, Shepard and Pena star as two offbeat officers teamed up to catch some corrupt cops. I really liked the chemistry between Shepard and Pena. They are outrageous and it’s fun to watch. Granted this movie didn’t get the best of reviews, but it’s one that I can confidently say will make you laugh and have a good time watching some over-the-top action. There is one scene that will either make you laugh out loud or cringe in disgust, or both actually. Lets just say there is someones face and manhood region involved.
