Must See Movies Of The Week

BITTER HARVEST:

I’ve hear about these stories about the Bolsheviks from my grandfather when I was a little kid. This movie shed a bit of light on that and more. The movie tells the story about the time in history that isn’t commented or know to most the Holodomor that Joseph Stalin orchestrated a famine against the people of Ukraine. The film is one that will make you feel a lot. It also has a strong romantic aspect to it amid all the war and struggle. I liked the young talented cast that includes Max Irons. This is a story that should have been told on film already, but it’s finally getting its due. With the recent issues between Russia and Ukraine, this is ironically a relevant story today. This is a significant film that’s compelling to watch.

Bitter Harvest is out now on DVD, Digital HD and On Demand
