THE LIGHT BETWEEN OCEANS:

One of the best films of the year is a powerful romantic drama about a couple who find a child offshore. Director Derek Cianafrance does a masterful job directing this beautiful looking film. The scenes and coastal New Zealand landscapes look picturesque. Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander are phenomenal in their roles. Top level work from them, especially Fassbender. Rachel Weisz is also very impressive. Aside from the gorgeous look of the film and master level acting, the story is very intriguing and equally heartbreaking. The film feels very timeless and it is impactful, especially relatable to parents. A great date movie also, just bring the tissues, trust me. Read my full review of the movie.
