I’m speechless. I know I usually let you guys watch the trailer first but from what I’ve seen I’m downright repulsed by the looks of these turtles.  I probably should reserve judgement for the film and let the movie try to convince me that this was a good idea, but good grief! look at these fugly amphibians!

Man William Fichtner is good at making things better. I am trying to take a step back and keep in mind that there was a giant “Nickelodeon” logo prceding this trailer reminding me that I am well beyond the target audience for this film but with the near Avengers-esque setup in this trailer has me wondering what perspective I should be viewing this from. Do 10 year olds think this is cool? Do they think that line about the mask at the end is actually funny?

Len Wiseman, you have my attention.

  1. I am so sick of Michael Bay’s flashy lights and excessive use of slow motion passing for quality action/entertainment these days. The special affects are spectacular, but that is all the movies ever are. Just empty shells of 14A violence to make teens drool and want to drive yellow Camaros. I do not expect this iteration to be any different.
