Annie is another one of those movies that I feel as if I’ve followed along with from announcement to actual production, so I get somewhat more invested in learning more about the film as I read along with its developments. I still wonder how this movie would have developed, (and how much sooner), if Willow Smith hadn’t dropped out of production, but man this Quvenzhané Wallis girl is a great substitute. Thankfully Annie is also retaining its musical roots and has updated some of the iconic songs that most of us have grown to recognize.
So far I’m pretty damn excited for this movie and can’t wait to drag my kid to the theater to justify my sitting in the theater.
No sight of AAA in this video but I’m sure we’ll see something from him at some point. That’s all for now…
