Christopher Nolan’s NEXT sci-fi film might be Interstellar

Now that the Academy Awards have completlety snubbed Christopher Nolan this year and his Batman film it’s time to turn toward the future for the great director.  Think passed all this superman justice league nonsense and instead focus on the things that we all know that Nolan will excel with:

Original Stories

The director created a blockbuster hit for himself and Warner Bros. with a little film he made a while back called “Inception” that managed to gross around $800 million worldwide generating almost as much cash as his Batman movies.  That’s a really impressive feat and today’s news is that he might be taking on a film in space!

The story involves time travel and alternate dimensions and sees a group of explorers travel through a wormhole. The script is based on scientific theories developed by Kip Thorne, a theoretical physicist, gravitational physicist and astrophysicist at Caltech…

…The script for Interstellar was written by Jonathan Nolan, Chris’ brother, who worked on The Dark Knight Rises and The Dark Knight, as well as Prestige.

I don’t need no stinking synopsis.  Repeat after me:

IN NOLAN WE TRUST.

That’s it.  Say no more. If  Christopher Nolan wants to make a movie in space just hurry up and sell me the ticket, I’ll be there.

Some sites are reporting this as soemthign thats foreign for the director like “Christopher Nolan is finally taking on sci-fi” and to those guys I say “What are you dense?” His last 4 films were all sci-fi!  Fear Gas? Breaking and entering into a dream?  Sci-fi my friends, look it up.  This time it just might be in space.

That’s all for now…

  1. Say what you want about Nolan and that he overcomplicates or oversimplifies… I love his work.  This sounds like it could be a hell of a ride, and I for one, am psyched.
