Willow is coming to BluRay!

I can’t tell you how often I reference the movie ‘Willow’ in casual coversation.  It’s embarassing.  I look at movies like The Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit and my mind immediately wanders to Warwick Davis and Val Kilmer’s grand adventure that was brought to us by Ron Howard and George Lucas back in 1988.  I was exposed to the fantasy adventure film at an impressionable age and the news that this film is coming to home in hi-def put a child-like grin on this writers’ face. Check out the full press release Fox passed along about the film below:

I’m really excited to re-watch this film on BluRay and see what these “new deleted scenes” are all about, as well as to look into this video diary with Warwick Davis. The child-geek in me can’t help himself.
