A new international poster for G.I. Joe Retaliation has been discovered and is available for us all. This new poster is still very similar to the markerting materials released prior to the original June 2011 release date except with one huge difference:
This poster has a lot more Tatum
The rationalization for the delay was that they studios wanted to post convert into 3D because 3D films cost more for ticket buyers and help their bottom line, but its increasingly obvious that they also want to capitalize on Tatum’s increased popularity after turning in favorable performances in both ’21 Jump Street’ and ‘Magic Mike’.
As for this poster itself? Meh. They had me the first time around, now I’m just annoyed.
