Trailer: ‘A Glimpse Inside the Mind of Charles Swan III’

Charlie Sheen was famous for films like “Major League” and the slapstick comedy “Hot Shots,” but after his insane outbursts that caused his departure from “Two and a Half Men,” he has become infamous. From the trailer for “A Glimpse Inside the Mind of Charles Swan III,” it looks like he’ll be able to put some of his randomness to good use alongside Bill Murray, Jason Schwartzman, and Aubrey Plaza. Check out the trailer below.

Murray and Schwartzman usually team up for films with this sort of indie vibe and I think Charlie Sheen will actually fit in well with the tone of this film. The randomness of the trailer reminds me of “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind” for some reason, but it could just be the way the trailer is put together. In addition to an eclectic cast, Roman Coppola, brother of Sofia Coppola (Lost in Translation) and son of Francis Ford Coppola, will be directing the film. This will be Roman’s first big film as Director, although he’s credited as a writer for many Wes Anderson films. I tend to like these types of indie films and I am predicting positive things for this film, along with a positive response to Sheen’s performance.

About Ryan

First and foremost, Ryan Brown is a fan. He has been an avid fan of both the theater and cinema since an early age and his passion for both has been continually growing ever since. When dissecting a film, he focuses on all elements of film-making including some fan/cult factors. He believes that character development is the foundation of a good film and usually starts his analysis of a film from there moving forward. His writing style may be influenced by his background of narrative and argumentative studies in the subject, but he tends to enjoy a more conversational style to better interact with the readers, unlike some other pretentious and pompous writers.
