Casting has begun on this movie ‘Red Machine’ recently, with some casting announcements that caught my attention. Normally I would probably wait a bit further into production before speaking about this on the site but man, that’s a helluva cast and premise that my imagination wouldn’t let me stop thinking about hilarious scenarios this movie may produce. James Marsden, Thomas Jane and Billy Bob Thornton are set to star in Indomitable Entertainment and Paul Schiff Prods.’ thriller “Red Machine” — sharing the spotlight with a live grizzly bear.
Fully financed pic centers around two estranged brothers (Marsden, Jane) who reconcile on a camping trip with their girlfriends. Once in the remote wilderness, however, things go horribly awry when they are attacked and relentlessly stalked by a horrifying grizzly bear — the Red Machine. Thornton will play a legendary bear expert and hunter.
Billy Bob Thornton to the rescue? Mr. Bad Santa to save the day? And Cyclops and the Punisher can’t beat a bear? Yeah, my imagination is running wild. I’ll try to show restraint about this film, but it does seeem like some hilarity will surely ensue.
