Daniel Day-Lewis is a chameleon. No, really the guy can alter his appearance to such an extent to fit just about any character he wishes to portray. Take a look at this photo that was recently uncovered of DDL in full Abe Lincoln garb.

I am impressed! I knew he nailed it when we took a look at him previously with the Lincoln look but add on his obligatory hat and wardrobe and you have a bonafide doppelganger. Kinda creepy. Very cool. Can’t wait to see more from this picture.

Danny is the worst overactor of the last 50 years(I’m thinking early Chris Plummer). Both Scorsese and Anderson just ran up the white flag even though his wife was able to give him the whip(“Jack and Rose”). Lets see if Spielburg can get a half decent job out of him. I’m interested in the other casting..Eliza Dushku as Mary..Jackie Earle Haley as Tad..Paul Giamatti as Ed Stanton..Eric Roberts as John Wilkes Booth?
Memo to the Coen Brothers: if this works consider Albert Finney as Warren Harding..there’s a gold mine there
Daniel is one of the greatest actors of our time. This will be interesting.
Let me go out on a limb here and say..I predict an Oscar for DDL. A stretch I know, but it could happen.
Lincoln is the only one person who has that trademark…but i’m so impressed with Daniel, what a great actor
