I’ve been watching this Tin Tin movie with a keen eye for a handful of reasons. First, it’s Steven Spielberg’s and Peter Jackson’s’ labor of love. Second, It’s Tin Tin. Third, it looks really impressive graphically and I can’t wait to see what it looks like in its entirety. Until that time let’s what some appetites on some new images that recently cropped up online.

Blistering Barnacles that thing is looking creepy. My eyes say cartoon but man the textures, backgrounds, and little details say “real”. Does anyone else have trouble with the “Uncanny Valley”?
I’m still looking forward to this regardless. I loved Tin Tin as a child and hope this inspires the same, (failed), aspirations of adventure and romance while globe trotting and solving mysteries.

3D movies with human characters can cross over into the creepy if they get too close to looking real, but not close enough to be taken for real. This happened with The Polar Express. This movie looks like it could be in that same danger zone.
Steven Spielberg’work never let us down.He always catch the public’s attention and the movie make us think more. It’s beyond the movie now,he is really an outstanding director!
