This American Long weekend, we saw the battle of the sequels, Hangover 2 and Kungfu Panda 2. Now while I will always remember the squash, and never underestimate the power of a family friendly film… Hangover 2 nearly DOUBLED the boxoffice of Kung Fu Panda (see how I dodged a martial arts reference there?)
The Hangover Part II – $86,035,000 – Opening
Kung Fu Panda 2 – $47,835,000 – Opening
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides – $39,592,000 – 2wks
Bridesmaids – $16,550,000 – 3wks
Thor – $9,400,000 – 4wks
Pretty solid Top 5 there. Pirates dropped to third with a little less than half the boxoffice of its impressive $90million opening.
Round it out with Bridesmaids and Thor and thats a great variety of choices heading out to the theaters!

it was funny but I dident have nearly as many hard laughs as I did the first one.
I want to see mr chow in his own film to me he was the star and the monkey.
