It should come as little surprise to find out that details are emerging regarding the fifth Resident Evil movie, especially when you consider that they already announced a release date 2 months ago, and today we find out that this sequel has a title.

Just to let the RE fans know, ’cause there’s been a bunch of questions about the next film, Paul has kids that are professional players. All they do is play the games until they master every level and unlock every code. They play the games for weeks and give Paul the footage. So, he’s literally watching days of the most awesome RE players out there to get inspiration for the next installment of the franchise.
The Resident Evil movie franchise has been entertaining but not really too faithful to the source material so I’m a little shocked that Paul Anderson even has people play the game for him to relay the details. What are these guys doing wrong that he couldnt understand that Nemesis was not supposed to be a wimp that turns on his creators? And when is someone going to stop pulling his leg and tell him that there is no Alice in the game!? Man, he shoulda played the game himself…
I love all the 4 movies, and I warn you, I wont watch the fifth one if she isn’t there.

i like Resident Evil 1,2 but after release 3,4 its going to boring.i think without good new story 5 is going to flop also.
If they’re going to make another Resident Evil movie, I’d personally much rather see them reboot it and make a movie that starts in the mansion.
Yeah as cool as the movies are the idea that he’s watching actual game footage sounds odd. If anything he should have just cast Milla as Jill Valentine (and get a leading guy to be Chris) and run from there. I just hope that this is the final one.
Five movies and the story is still going (not to be confused with the Friday the 13th movies where Jason manages to return every few years but the movies are pretty much stand alone)?
I think that the recent RE video games (RE4 & RE5) have been influenced by the movies in terms of style: more explosive action-oriented than suspenseful horror.
I just hope that those RE players show Paul Anderson lots of footage from RE2 and RE4. Not only are they the best in franchise(IMO), but it’s hightime to add Leon Kennedy and Ada Wong into the mix.
Whats the deal here? Does she work on other films at all these days?
God, Fifth Element seems like a distant memory
She’s in the upcoming Three Muskateers movie. The movie trailer makes it look like she’s playing a heroine who knows how to swashbuckle and kick butt. I’m not all that interested in the Muskateers conceptually, but it’s an action flic and Milla’s in it, so I’ll probably find myself shelling out $8.00 ($6.00 with my military discount, yeah!) to see her swing a sword a couple of times.
Isn’t her husband directing that too?
Yeah right, (Paul Anderson-directing) she’s like Helen Bohnam Carter-Burton as in she’s in every movie her Husband puts out.
