Jim Carrey does Black Swan on SNL

Jim Carrey hosted Saturday Night Live on the weekend and out of all the things he chose to spoof, he decided to go with the dark and serious material in Black Swan.

Ever since In Living Color and Ace Ventura, I always found physical comedy to be Jim Carrey’s forte, and I liked seeing him in that element. Bold to chose such dark subject matter to spoof, but is anything sacred to the SNL crew?

What do you think?

  1. Thought this episode was one of their best so far, for this season at least. The Black Swan sketch was great! Wasn’t offended at all, and it was my second-favourite film of 2010.

    1. I don’t think so, I don’t think they would make a parody of 9/11? But they are a sketch comedy show so they will take a crack on most things, even dark films.

      1. yeah, nothing’s really off-limits. But they do try to stay on the side of good taste.

        too bad SNL blows lately!

were in one of those “give it a couple of years” faises where it sucks right now….then It’ll get better. (like after the original died down, then we got Eddie Murphy!, then it sucked again (martin short-Dreyfuss). then we got the Sandler,Farley,Hartman,Carvey,Myers years!..then it sucked again till Will Ferrel got good)Now it kinda Sucks again..

        so….

      2. oh the hillarity! I consider the 90s one of the best came out from SNL. Heck, what an star studded cast they were have back then. Heck even Will Ferrel come from that era too
