Looks like there is another Spy Kids film coming out, and it will star Jessica Alba… as a mom of two new hopeful Spy Kids.
SPY KIDS 4: ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD. This is more of a reboot with different kids and different adventure but the original stars Alexa Vega (who’s now 23 and engaged), Daryl Sabara and Antonio Banderas might show up in supporting roles.
In SPY KIDS 4, Alba will play a retired spy who has been activated, she’s the mother of a baby and two preteen stepchildren who will be the new SPY KIDS.
If the original stars show up in supporting roles, its not a reboot at all. Especially if they are calling it Spy Kids 4.
They are going “Next Generation” on the franchise, but it only makes sense that if they were going to bother at all, they need to go with fresh meat because the current stars defy the very premise of the title.
I liked the first Spy Kids film, but after that it just got silly. However it was ahead of its time with 3D way before Cameron brought it back into fashion.
Jessica Alba, really…shez got the looks, but shez no actress…
First was good, Others….Murdered. 4?, Jessica Alba?, Sounds like a terrible film, No way i will watch it….Recipe for crapness.

I loved the first two. The second one was even better. But the third was just awful.
Spy Kids 3 had potential, but it turned out to be a mess. Still, it was funny that the 3-D glasses given out were the 1950’s kind.
It’s the role she was born for.
I actually thought Spy Kids 2 was better then the first. Didn’t like the third at all, but this series still has tons of untapped potential, and it’s a great, fun, family series.
