First Poster For Yogi Bear

Here’s our first look at the Live-Action/CGI hybrid, Yogi Bear. The beloved Hanna-Barbera cartoon character heads to the big screen in 3D style. Directed by Eric Brevig, the animated adventure features the voices of Dan Aykroyd, Justin Timberlake, Tom Cavanagh, Anna Faris and Andy Daly. Yogi Bear has a schedule release date of December 2010.

The film, adapting the television series, will follow the adventures of Yogi Bear and his pal Boo-Boo in Jellystone Park, as they avoid Ranger Smith who is trying to stop Yogi from stealing picnic baskets. Dan Aykroyd will voice Yogi, Justin Timberlake will voice his pal, Boo Boo, and Christine Taylor will voice his girlfriend, Cindy Bear. Anna Faris plays a nature-documentary film-maker following the escapades of Yogi in Jellystone Park. [14] Tom Cavanagh will be playing the part of Ranger Smith.

This films looks like it could be lots of fun. Our first poster look for the film looks great. I believe it’s a great idea for them to update this classic cartoon character. Make it a little more relevant to modern times; introduce it to younger generations, while captivating once more the older audience who grew up watching the 2D version on TV. I’m sure the film will make good money this Christmas. Now, if we could get a look at CGI Yoga in action…

What do you guys think? You up for this Yogi upgrade?

    1. You are jumping to conclusions here. You don’t know it will be crappy.

Might be awesome. You dont know that yet.

The first teaser art we saw they looked creepy. These are not so creepy looking. Still, I am going to wait to actually SEE something about this movie before I assume its going to be bad and write it off.
