Veronica Mars Email Address for Film Petitions

Even after three seasons of Veronica Mars on TV, fans of the show are still harassing Warner Brothers to uncancel the show or give us a feature film that shows us Veronica Mars on the big screen.

Well the Brothers Warner have decided to create an email address specifically for the Veronica Mars fans to voice their desires.

CinemaBlend says:

Mega-studio Warner Bros. has announced via their Twitter that they’ve set up an email to act as a catch-all for every request for a Veronica Mars movie. This could mean one of two things: first, it could mean that WB is simply tired of getting these emails and are tricking fans into sending requests for the film to this new address so they can more easily manage their inbox; or two, they’re genuinely interested in putting out a film about the high school super sleuth and are gauging interest from the outside world.

I just LOVED Veronica Mars, and the TV series set me off on a love affair screen crush with Kristen Bell. The show was great, and as it began to decline in ratings, a radical move to skip the story ahead 4 years between seasons and having Mars entering the FBI could have saved the show, but about 8 minutes was filmed to tease and it never happened.

The biggest obsitcle to harass this concept is that Miley Cyrus – who is growing up with the same demographic that made her a superstar – is set to star in So Undercover, a tough street smart kid who gets hired by the FBI to help solve a case.

The paralells to Veronica Mars are pretty strong although there is room for the two to co-exist with the differences.

So for all you crusaders and petition signers, send your emails to [email protected] and we will see if it gets a reaction.

  1. Always felt this show ended when it should have. Don’t see the point of a movie myself. Of course they made those Sex in the City movies to so I guess there is a market for it.

Can’t help feeling this would last one week in theater.

  2. I loved Veronica Mars and started re-watching it just recently. Nearly finished with it now and I must say the series got a lot worse after the 1st season and even more so after the 2nd season ended. Also liked the whole Veronica in FBI concept a lot and hadn’t seen the teaser till now. The way they set it up for the teaser was pretty bad. If they ever do end up making a Veronica Mars movie I hope now that some time has passed they’d make an awesome movie instead of continuing from the bad to worse trend they had towards the end of the series.
