With the release of Iron Man 2 on BluRay and DVD next week, we now get a sneak peek at the alternative opening scene that I think works a lot better.
The “you complete me” line was perfect, and we were teased with it in early trailers only to be robbed of the clever banter in the theatrical release.
This one also lends more to the illusion that him leaping from the plane was an actual mission and not just some grand entrance to Stark Expo – which was also spoiled for us in the trailer.
I would have rather had NOT seen that in the trailer and then DID see this in the movie.

I like this opening better. This is a pure example of how the charm and fun of the first film was absent from the second.
am i the only one who thinks Junior is a bit over rated. all of a sudden hes the it man in hollywood and everyone loves him. his cockiness gets annoying
Plus the banter between potts and stark/junior got kind of tedious through the movie–every scene they were in together you knew they were going to start talking over one another and reach no sensible conclusion.
Dudes great, anyone who was in Weird Science is great!

I’d love to see a random scene where Ironman is fighting in a mall of some sort and anthony michael hall is below and ironman knocks a slushie off the ledge, anthony michaek hall has that look like WFT Dejvu…..

Nah, he’s not wearing the Iron Man suit. He’s wearing the chest piece, but as for the full suit, it looks like he is wearing something that the animators will be able to build over the top of in post. The Iron Man suit doesn’t have all of those black and white checkered stripe things on it!

nah, just foolin’ he’s looks to be wearing the body armor on top but the CGI squares are all over the bottom, Love the clip though
Not digging it at all, mostly because of the editing but that could just be because this is a alternate/deleted scene and there usually not fully worked out.
