Do you know how films get nominated for an Oscar? While you might think that just being awesome is enough to get you noticed by everyone, you would be wrong. Its hard work to be noticed and these people have to fight for it.
This is where the “For your consideration” phrase comes from. Letters and videos from filmmakers who feel they deserve the honour are created and submitted to the Academy in the category they feel they deserve.
Like Piranha 3D. Clearly the first choice contender for Oscars.

Kinda funny but the part where Jessica Zsohr said that no one below 50 watched the Oscar nominees last year was quite annoying. Well, I must admit there’s some truth to it. But I have seen all the Best Picture nominees except The Blind Side and I’m just 21. Some of us young ones do like films that have depth and nuance. Even if we’re just a minority. I know it was not meant to be taken seriously but I must admit it irked me. By the way, I’ve been reading this blog for a while now but it’s the first time I’ve actually posted a comment.

Piranha 3-D has as much chance at an oscar as Megan Fox does, zero.
And I am sure everyone in the video is well aware of that. Though most of them have a better shot at an Oscar than Megan.
