And now Cillian Murphy is in final talks to play the badguy, while the lead goes to … Justin Timberlake?
Over the weekend, Cillian Murphy entered final talks to join the movie as ‘The Timekeeper’ [note: in a movie where time is described as ‘currency’ and the rich ‘immortal’, anyone with that name is likely to be the villain] which Justin Timberlake is set to lead, alongside Amanda Seyfried.
I don’t hate Timberlake as an actor as I think he is taking the right steps to transition from popstar to movie star, but I still don’t think he is strong enough to hold a lead role in a movie.
Especially a movie with Cillian Murphy and Amanda Seyfried, two very respected actors.
Maybe he will surprise me. Or maybe Murpy and Seyfried will be so good I won’t notice him.

I love Cillian Murphy. I hope he takes it, would love to see him as a villain again. I really like the idea of this film as well.
But Justin Timberlake in the lead, REALLY? I mean this sounds like a Sci-Fi thriller, can Timberlake do well in this kind of movie, let alone the freakin’ lead?!

I remember reading about this awhile back, or atleast a movie with the same premise. Wasn’t jared Leto suppose to lead?
