Old Spice Guy joins Horrible Bosses

He is the man your man can smell like, and he is responsible for the most successful and viral ad campaigns for Old Spice (sales were reportedly up 107% in the last month alone!). His name is Isaiah Mustafa.

And now he is breaking into feature films as he is cast with a small role in an upcoming Jennifer Aniston comedy Horrible Bosses where he will play a cop.

Screen Junkies shares

Isaiah Mustafa, the star of the now legendary deodorant ads will reportedly play a cop in the upcoming comedy. Mustafa joins a list of Hollywood heavyweights, including Colin Farrell, Charlie Day, Jennifer Aniston, and Kevin Spacey, just to name a few.

And in addition to a role in Tyler Perry’s rediculously titled “For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf,” the former NFL player is filming a guest spot on NBC’s action-comedy “Chuck” where he will play a goofy but accomplished CIA Agent.

In a recent Attack of the Show interview he made it public that he wants to play Luke Cage if they ever make a Power Man movie.

Is this stunt casting, or was this just the stepping stone that got him noticed? I wont deny the man his talents, as he certainly has a presence and a charm to him as women everywhere swoon to his baritone banter and cut abs.

His 1 year contract with Old Spice ends in a couple months, and he recently signed a talent agreement with NBC who gets first dibs on the actor unless they “allow” him to do other approved projects.
