Happy Canada Day to the International Friends!

As much as the International Friends who come here every day hail from all around the world, this site found its start in Canada. In fact we are still run out of the humble offices in Hamilton Ontario.

And today we resilient residents of the Great White North celebrate our Canada Day which is the anniversary of the British North America Act (today called the Constitution Act), which united two British colonies and a province of the British Empire into a single country called Canada on July 1, 1867.

So Happy Birthday Canada! I am proud to be a citizen of this great country!

And even more so, a country where this spoof is actually a heart swelling statement of our nation’s pride. I give you William Shatner and his proud I am Canadian Speech!
