The Mechanic Trailer Online

Jason Statham was suspected to be taking over as the next big action hero, but then he quietly slipped away while Sam Worthington took that job. But now he appears to be back with a vengence his this hard and gritty remake of Charles Bronson’s The Mechanic.

Check out the Trailer:

Interestingly enough its not Statham’s asskickery that I am looking forward to, its Ben Foster that I want to see. I am REALLY liking Foster lately. So far he has yet to disappoint me.

Agreed on Ben Foster. He is kicking more and more ass. And you’ve gotta admit how awesome he was in Pandorum(and the movie as well).

I have been a fan of Foster’s since he was on the Disney channel on Flash Forward. Then, years later he shows up in Hostage and kills. Have enjoyed his talent and career choices since. Can’t wait for this flick.

Jason is still the better action hero then sam. Just cause sam’s been in 2 action movies (one of questionable quality) doesn’t make him the next action man. statham’s been in more than ten top quality action movies and his still my pick for an action flick boy day.

And look at the trailer, Ben Foster is more badass than Statham.

I still cant get the image of Angel from X-men with his spread wings and certain social overtones out of my head with this guy..

Maybee I should see the one w/ Woody Harrelson to get that image out of my mind

  7. 420BAND says:

    Nope.

Haven’t dragged myself to see that yet.
    or rent it

only other thing I saw him in was 30 days of night and it was so-so

  8. Foster does indeed rock. From The Messenger, to 3:10 To Yuma, he’s solid.

  9. Anti-Septic says:

Well, I would see this on Jason Statham’s name alone but having Ben Foster is just a welcomed bonus!

The original Mechanic with Charles Bronson and Jan-Michael Vincent was bad-ass! According to the trailer I watched, it looks as though the script was updated a bit and modernized. Not saying its a bad thing, really psyched about it actually.

I had no idea this was in the works!

  10. Gerlach says:

Yup, B. Foster is awesome, I’ve always seen him as a perfect cast for The Joker. He’s a really mean bad guy and an excellent actor.

Yeah I agree, this looks good!
I remember how the original ended, I’m wondering who’s gonna be the one that,,,,?

    I wont spoil it.
    :-)
Statham is great in almost anything he’s in.
