Peeing In Movies

Now before you think I am some sick pervert who goes out of his way to find things like this, a conversation broke out (there may have been beer involved) where some buddies and I mentioned how somethings are just unreal in films. Like when people order food at a restaurant and dont eat it, then leave. Who does that? But as conversations often do, the topic digressed into something you don’t see in movies. Like people going pee.

Hell, in Star Trek, the Enterprise is not even equipped with bathrooms! Maybe we won’t have to pee in a couple centuries? But this brought to memory some scenes where people do in fact relieve themselves and its an effective use of the bodily function for entertainment. Sometimes for comedic effect a good urination can be used in a film without just grossing you out. It has its place, and so I am going to list in no particular order – Peeing Scenes at the Movies (that don’t gross you out)

Austin Powers – Evacuation Stage

Austin Powers has been released from the cryogenic freezing and after the warm goo phase and a good hosing down, its time to evacuate the bladder. But even the computer cannot anticipate this wake-up wizz!

A League of Their Own – Tom Hanks Pee

In a more serious turn, Tom Hanks is playing the alcoholic Baseball coach Jimmy Dugan, who has been tasked to head up the women’s baseball league’s Rockford Peaches. First impressions are always the most memorable as he staggers into the locker room for the first time to meet his team. But some business needs to be taken care of first.

Billy Madison – If Peeing your Pants is cool, consider me Miles Davis!

In a comical but touching display, Billy Madison (Adam Sandler) helps a young boy dodge embarassment when he pees his pants.

In a side note, Sandler does have another memorable pee scene when he teaches his ward to pee in public.

The Hangover – Tiger in the Bathroom

The best use of Pee in a film! Zach Galifianakis staggers into the bathroom the morning after and there is a Siberian Tiger in there. Still dazed he turns to look at it peeing on the floor before reality sets in. Comic genius!

Are there any other memorable scenes in which someone pees in a film that is not just used to gross you out?

  1. Madalin says:

Tom Hanks’s character in “The Green Mile”.

  2. Harsh (gypsydreams101) says:

This is probably your most random post ever.

And too late, the sick pervert bit already crossed my mind :-)

For some reason, I just thought of R. Kelly…..

  3. Greg says:

Hay, what about Oger in Revenge of the Nerds 2. The evil Alpha guys are plotting on how to get rid of the nerds when Oger is taking a long leak. Every so often they all look back to see that he is still going. It’s a very funny scene. And when he is done Oger yells out “Nerds”. Very funny.

  4. Theis says:

Robert Downey Jr. finding a dead body in his bath room in “Kiss Kiss Bang Bang” and then – in chock – peeing on it. That was pretty funny.

  5. Marlon says:

Jim Carry in Me, Myself, and Irene. “Why am I peeing like I was up all night having sex”? Probably the only scene in the the movie that made me laugh hysterically.

  6. Bill says:

Leslie Neilsen in first Naked Gun movie.

    • Danny says:

Yes that’s the one! Its too funny how he goes on for like 3min. constantly, stops, and then restarts.

      • Pedro says:

And even lots off the odd fart or two in the process.

I loved the dialogue between him and George Kennedy in the next scene, they’re at the wharf at a murder scene, George says “You want to take a dinghy?”

Neilsen just replies “No, I went at the Mayor’s Office”.

  7. 420Band says:

    Austin Powers takes the gold!

  8. TDot says:

American Pie 2 (I think it was 2 anyways) when Stifler was getting peed on, LMFAO!!!!!

  9. Marla Singer says:

    Uh Hello??? Dumb and Dumber???

  10. Corey says:

There is the 40 Year Old Virgin when Steve Carrell pees on himself in the morning

  11. James says:

Year One when Michael Cera was upside down, and he had to pee, and all the piss wen to his face

    BUT THE BEST ONE EVER

Was in the movie “Waiting” with Ryan Reynolds, were the guy couldnt pee in public in a public bathroom

“I always get paranoid, what if the guy next to me is looking at my dick!?”

    “Use the cubical..”

“THAT DOESNT SWORK, I always pcture people looking through the cracks saying ‘I dont hear any peeing, when will he GO!?”"

Then to overcome his shy bladder, he started imagining himself pissing in front of everyone daily while they all (family and friends) yell out:

    “PISS! PISS! PISS! PISS!”

    • James says:

      And this may not count:

But South Park’s “Pee” episode was gold. I love South Park

‘Sir your water park is filled with 98% pee… no H”

  12. Urk says:

Tom Hanks also urinated in the ocean in Cast Away….the man sure likes to pee on film.

  13. Ryan says:

In Gattica (a *great* sci fi movie if there ever was one), Ethan Hawke has to relieve himself on more than one occasion as a means of essentially proving his identity (which, of course, isn’t really his identity at all). One of the last, critical scenes in the entire movie involves him peeing.

  14. Anti-Septic says:

I prefer the Tom Hanks one in League of their Own, I find it hysterical.

  15. Raul says:

Forest Gump tells JFK he’s got to pee.
Ace Ventura looking for championship rings.
The Goonies had to go pee at one point in the movie.

  16. Matt Keith says:

Lets not forget how “amazing” it was when Bumblebee pissed on Agent Simmons.

  17. Meli says:

Almost Famous where Penny sits down to pee while William is sitting in the tub trying to go through his notes.

Another Adam Sandler movie Big Daddy when he and the kid are peeing against the wall in public.

There was a time when you couldn’t show people peeing on film, so that’s why we never saw it…personally, I can go without watching people pee on the big screen.

  18. Yes, but making the perfect arch…

In any case, I nominate 1990′s King Of New York, where a mobster whips it out to leak on a messenger (Paul Calderon) sent by Frank White (Christopher Walken); 1996′s “Bad Moon” (Michael Pare marks his werewolf territory) and Fight Club…yeah, we are talkin’ lobster.

Anyway, as far as Trek is concerned, who says there are no bathrooms? The point is only that we always don’t need to see characters in and out of the bathroom. Next up: the best top ten barf-o-rama scenes…

    • Rodney says:

The schematics released for the poster shows the layout and all the tubes for the Enterprise and there are no bathrooms.

      Old Trek trivia

      • Ryan says:

That’s the second use for the transporter system and why the Enterprise D needed to have four transporter rooms =p

        (kidding…)

      • Gazza says:

This reminds me of a deleted scene in galaxy quest when the thermian explains to Alan rickman’s character that they had to “extrapolate” to build a toilet for him as they never been shown on the tv show. Funny!

  19. BigHead says:

How about the dog standing up peeing in the toilet in Bruce Almighty.

  20. bigsampson says:

OGRE in Revenge of the Nerds was the first piss seen i remember.

  21. It’s not quite peeing directly from it’s origination point, but Fred Savage’s character in The Boy Who Could Fly attacks his bullies with a water gun filled with his pee.

  22. 420BAND says:

I know the movie sucked compared to the 1st one, but in Duece Bigalow 2 when Eddie Griffin is standin’ to pee in his water filled houseboat and says to the pet cat watching if he likes his “big hairy ballz” and the cat jumps and clings on, then……………only funny scene in movie.

  23. Pedro says:

Mel Gibson in Lethal Weapon, he wakes up in his caravan naked, goes to the fridge to get a beer, and while drinking and gargling his beer he takes a pee.

In the recent mini-series Generation Kill we see some of the Marine’s taking a pee on several occasions, sometimes while having a conversation at the same time. (We won’t mention that we also see Marine’s taking a dump on quite a few occasions too.)

In the mini-series Shogun, the character Blackthorn insults a Samurai by telling him he “Pisses on his entire country”, so he forces Blackthorn to lie down and then proceeds to piss on his back in payback for the insult.

In Forbidden Kingdom Jackie Chan is performing some kind of magic to try and get it to rain. When there is suddenly water coming from the sky he looks up only to see that it is just Jet Li peeing on him from a sand dune or rock above him.

In We Were Soldiers, the soldiers, with the encouragement of their commanding officer (Mel Gibson again) take a pee on their overheating mortars to cool them down.

The famous scene in Cheech and Chong’s Up in Smoke, Cheech is standing at the urinal having trouble getting started. In walks Sgt Stedenko (Stacy Keach), when he finally gets to pee he turns to thank the Sgt and proceeds to pee on him.

  24. Terry Wood says:

Huey Lewis in “Short Cuts.” He takes a leak while on a fishing trip with friends and finds a dead body.

In “Hollywood KNights,” Robert Whul and several other guys hijack the punch for a school dance and whiz in it.

One of the teachers takes a drink and said she’s had this taste in her mouth before. A cop takes a drink and says, “It does have a certain wang to it, buy it tastes pretty good.

  25. Raw-Shark says:

Steve Carrel in Get Smart is another good one

  26. J Faber says:

Paz Vega in Sex and Lucia.

  27. me says:

In “Fools Rush In”, there’s a scene where Selma Hayek is arguing with Matthew Perry and she is peeing while arguing. I remember being shocked at the time that they would actually show that in a movie!
