Happy St Patrick’s Day

Posted by on 17. 03. 2010in News Chat

As all holidays tend to, each one strays from its intended purpose and finds itself revolving around some sort of food or object. Thanksgiving is about a turkey and shopping, Easter is about a bunny and chocolate, Christmas is about Santa and Presents. But St Patrick’s Day – originally a Catholic observation to pay respect to Ireland’s most respected priest best known for describing the holy trinity using a clover – has strayed to be celebrated by the ingestion of beer and wearing green.

College Humor has decided to explore what The Nightmare Before Christmas would have looked like if he tripped over into St Patrick’s day instead!

As a rule beer is a weekend thing and a “any day its hot” thing, but I may find myself partaking. If my posts in the morning are slurred, you will know I am still drunk.

Also, if you hadn’t noticed the site’s background has a green tint to it. For now.
