New A Nightmare on Elm Street Poster Online

A new poster for A Nightmare on Elm Street has surfaced and I have to say I am really liking it.

If you look carefully at the jawline, it looks like they didn’t just give him a burned face, but that they deformed him significantly too. I think this Freddie for a new generation could even be more terrifying even if it does look like he is about to enter a thoughtful monologue about how he wants James Bond to die.

I want to be excited about this movie. The trailers look cool, and they look like they are really getting Freddy right. That being said, I have no faith that this horror re-make is going to be any better than any of the other abortions from recent years. Once again I think we’ll get a lot of style with few real scares. I really hope I’m wrong.

It doesnt look like his jawline is deformed; it just looks like he’s got an evil smirk going on.

fOR Jackies sake I hope this rocks. He killed in Watchmen, and I have hope this will be good.

I like the Idea of him maybee being innocent and gets his revenge on tweenies that wrongfully accused him. (I think that’s what we’ll get)

and that is an awesome angle that warrants another take.

    hope I’m right

I’m loving the poster and the new look. if you look at the poster long enough, it feels like he will look up at you, and that..is scary. I hope i can sleep tonight and wake up in the morning alive.

I never saw the original horror films (ie Texas Chainsaw Massacre, nightmare on elm street, etc.).

But the trailers for this make me wanna catch up.

Gotta see the originals especialy 1&2 (the best of the group)but steer clear of the T.V. series.

    good stuff

Sweet. I hope this one is better than “Friday the 13th.”

This is one remake I am looking forward too. The young cast actauly has some pretty talented actors in it especially Katie Cassidy and Kyle Gallner. I am a huge fan of the original series not only for its horro but for its bit of camp-like humor. I hope they include a bit of humor to Freddy because that is what always made him such a likable monster for me.
