Could Daryl Hannah be in Kill Bill Vol 3?

I think my favourite character in the Kill Bill series had to be Daryl Hannah’s Elle Driver, the eye-patch wearing blond beauty. Well it seems that Daryl Hannah hopes we might be seeing her again as a Blind Samurai warrior out for revenge on The Bride.

JoBlo replays:

Daryl Hannah who plays the vicious Driver insinuates in an interview with Film24 that this isn’t the end of her character. “He always meant it as a trilogy,” Hannah says of Quentin Tarantino’s plans.

So, what does Hannah think will become of Driver? “Think about it. There’s always been a tradition of blind Samurais and you never actually saw her expire in the other film.” Girls got a point. Tarantino loves to drop hints himself, but hardly anything is known about the third installment except for the fact that it’s due in 2014.

Could just be Hannah talking out of her ass hoping that she will get a part in the highly secretive Kill Bill vol 3. But it could also be that she is just sharing her excitement over what she does know about the film as I imagine Tarantino will likely be talking to people he wants involved.

Kill Bill 3 itself doesn’t add up to me, and just sounds like Tarantino wanting another sequel that he is going to have to force. If he “always intended it as a sequel” then why is it called Kill Bill and that is the climax of the second volume? Sounds more to me like he envisioned it as one movie (hense calling it Volume 1&2) in two parts, and is now fabricating a third.

They can always do some flash back/semi prequal scenes that set the characters on their way then jump to the present when Nikki is gunning for Beatrix.

I don’t think the title will be Kill Bill anyway. Bill is dead, long live the Bill! (bad pun)

Her and Rutget Hauer’s character from Blind Fury, hook up and have a baby who’s a bad ass blind samurai swordbaby. Epic!

Tarantinos doing a sequel? I thought he wanted to do a prequel about the Bride and Bill.

NAHHHHH. This film will probally not get made IMO.

if he does it, it’s the little girl with the red Pumas that’ll come back “if shes still raw” about her mom being killed by the bride.

I think when they ask him about it, he gives us what we want to hear and he’s probally got a nice BUZZ on him and just rambles on…

for the record I’d go see it in a heartbeat.

I read something a while back that Tarantino envisioned making a 3rd movie with Nicki all grown up tracking down beatrix to kill but Beatrix’s daughter has been taught the way of the black mamba and will fight nicki! I hope this gets made because that would add up correctly and I wanna see Uma kick more ass! But i agree with Anthony…….Thats a long butt time lol

  8. Pedro says:

If they make it, and whatever they call it, it’s not worth making without David Carradine.

  9. Dragonslayer says:

I loved the first film, but the second just didn’t do it for me. I don’t know why, I really wanted to like it.

I don’t know how they’re gonna do it, but a Kill Bill 3 sounds like a fun time.

I am of the opinion that The first was Awesome, and the second was good but a downer in comparison..Loved the end with Bill And the Bride talking Superheros
