Brooklyn’s Finest Trailer Online

This looks pretty intense, and is not your typical cop movie. I am surprised I didn’t see this sooner. What attracted me to this at first were a few names in the trailer – Cheadle, Snipes, Gere and Hawke? Sounds good to me.

In the course of one chaotic week, the lives of three conflicted New York City police officers are dramatically transformed by their involvement in a massive drug operation in Brooklyn’s Finest, a searing new crime drama from acclaimed director Antoine Fuqua (Training Day).Burned out veteran Eddie Dugan (Golden Globe®-winner Richard Gere) is just one week away from his pension and a fishing cabin in Connecticut. Narcotics officer Sal Procida (Oscar® nominee Ethan Hawke) has discovered there’s no line he won’t cross to provide a better life for his long-suffering wife and seven children. The film captures the volatile and deadly world of one of New York’s most dangerous precincts through the eyes of the men and women pledged to protect and serve, as they face the wrenching choices that make them Brooklyn’s Finest.
This looks pretty good. I was pretty surprised how much Cheadle and Snipes looked alike. It hadn’t occurred to me before.
Still those names all struck a chord with me. It wasn’t any one name in particular, but seeing them all together that suddenly made me want to see how that mix is going to taste.
Then seeing the trailer I was very interested.
Brooklyn’s Finest opens in theaters on March 5th, 2010.

oh damn, I didn’t even recognize him. I thought it was DMX at first. Love The Wire though!
I cant help but ALWAYS compare supposedly good cop movies to the Departed.
The Departed-o-meter shall decide if this movie is any good.
The Departed was good but it not the first or the greatest cop movie.
Though there hasn’t been anything better since.
Ok, well I can say Departed is probably the best cop movie in the past decade, so I guess I can understand where you are coming from.

Good to see Richard Gere back in “Internal Affairs” mode.
this should be good.
This is an interesting cast match up. We have Richard Gere and Snipes who haven’t been invested into to many movies in awhile,Then Cheadle and Hawke coming off of some good movies with decent ratings in the Box Office. The story looks real good and I like how they show how even some of the “Finest” can have a gritty side.
looks good to me but it has gotten a few bad reviews thus far. I’m still interested.
