Tim Allen’s Arbor Daze Trailer Online

Posted by on 06. 01. 2010in News Chat

Tim Allen is always a win for me. He puts out family friendly movies that I always find enjoyable. He was Santa Claus! And just awesome in it.

Apparently Tim was pissed that his Wild Hogs co-star didn’t include him on the recent Old Dogs family film, and not satisfied to just snub the poor boxoffice that film got, Tim went to make his own family film.

Arbor Daze!

Tim plays an environmentally unconscious dad who’s son wishes he could understand what trees feel and he is transformed into a tree! Oh the warmhearted object lessons to be learned!

You can check out the official website Here

(And yes, I am aware that this is a Funny or Die fake Trailer, but they were so damned nice to tell me about it, and went to a lot of work, I thought I would present it like a real movie news)

Usually I’m a big Tim Allen fan, but this looks like an April fools joke. ABSOLUTELY AWFUL…it could turn him into the new Eddie Murphy.

  2. Jason says:

This looks horrible. Is he really that desperate?

  3. Jason says:

This does not come up at all on IMDB. This must be fake.

I find Tim Allen movies hit or miss. overall, I love him as an actor but he picks some horrid movies, although I’m one of the few that loved Wild Hogs. Galaxy Quest, the Santa Clause series (Yes, even the 3rd), the Toy Story series, Jungle 2 Jungle, and Big Trouble are some others that I loved as well, but he also has quite alot of stinkers such as Zoom, The Shaggy Dog, Joe Somebody, and other such movies. This one looks like it’ll fall under the miss category, however, I’ll still check it out cause Tim Allen is one of those actors I’ll back 100% of the way, even if I know I won’t like the movie.

I got it Rodney, its okay… There are people who read ALL your stuff. I was confused at first how bad it was but then saw the logo to the side and scrolled down those extra little millimeters to read that it wa FAKE.

Read Rodney’s words at the end. This is a fake trailer

You’re right this must be a joke. The FX of Tim Allen’s face on the tree trunk is just so god-awful! Any kid could do that w/ a $20 software nowadays. I thought the upcoming Tooth Fairy was going to be the bottom of the barrel – this one went lower.

  7. Luchismo says:

Comments are HILARIOUS! Please someone tell me that the final lines of this story were added after the comments stating that this “movie” looks horrible and they won’t be going to see it.

Christmas with the Cranks was good enough.

The trailer “was” fake, they later confirmed it’s going to be a real independent film. Check out their latest post.

  14. Scrooge says:

Thats right, Yomatto did confirm this movie was actually in the works but not by Disney. I think Calibasi Pictures is doing it.
