Sequel to ‘FOUR BROTHERS’ in Development

Paramount is hard at work to the 2005 film ‘Four Brothers’. I found the movie quite enjoyable for what it was. Apparently the movie is going to be called ‘Five Brothers’. There is no word yet if any of the original cast will return (Didn’t one of them die in the film? I cannot remember) or if John Singleton will even direct it.

For those of you who cannot remember, Four Brothers was about the murder of their adoptive mother in a Detroit convenience store. The murder brings the boys together to uncover a local King Pin and his lackeys. It was a very good flick with a whole lot of violence.

Yes, the youngest brother died in the film, so I don’t know how they are going to get five brothers out of three that are left??

  2. David Lopan says:

The first was actually a great movie, I thought.

  3. The film was alright. At first I was skeptical about the sequel news…but then I recalled that the brothers were adopted. Perhaps the three brothers become Big Brothers to/adopt five youths..? Or is Brother simply a friend who has your back?

I saw this post as I immediately thought of Five Guys Burgers. Mmmmm! Must be hungry today!

Five guys, just opened up close to me in Middletown CT, great great meat.

With that said, two other brothers could come back when they find out the youngest dies, two kids that left the house early or something, or older than the others and come back for some issue with a younger brother that is taken hostage by some peeps who’s family were killed in the first one. Who knows, I’m thinking George Clooney and Ice Cube could make a good extra couple brothers.

I thought they were foster kids. If that were the case it would be very easy to believe that they’re adoptive mother had other foster kids that weren’t in the first movie.

Is this the movie where he says “Say hi to your mother for me”?

  8. T-Vo says:

4 Brothers was a re-telling or re-adaptation of “The Sons of Katie Elder”, Great John Wayne movie.

I really loved Four Brothers but I don’t think it needs a sequel. But if they do one, I’ll be there to see it as long Marky is in it.

I tuned out of the 1st one when I saw Wahlbergs name come in on the opening credits..(sorry)

I went against my will and watched “The Happening” cause I figured I’ll give the director 1 more chance to redeem himself and once again, I had to shut it off once Mr. Wahlberg was running from……ready? THE WIND!

They should just give all future ACTING Wahlberg roles to Andy Samberg…

How does the plot of one movie, stop you from watching a completely separate movie?

      • kisskiss431 says:
