Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 Teaser Online

Seems the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 Teaser was just that. A Teaser.

WB seems to hate it when we promote stuff for them so the previous version we had up got ganked, but it seems that MovieWeb has it up, so here it is in case you missed it.

I enjoyed all the Harry Potter movies and I didn’t dislike the last one as much as most people did, but I wish we got to see more of Riddle’s past like we did in the books.

I have faith this last chapter will knock it out of the park. It has to!

Yeah, I never got why movie/music studios are still so archaic about the mindset of “Who can post trailers” and what-not online.

It’s called “Free Publicity” people. Use the hell out of it then cut your advertising budget in half so maybe you can price theater tickets at a price that will make me actually WANT to see these films in the theaters.

Anyway, I’m veering off course a bit but I pretty much never go to the theater because it’s too expensive.

  2. GT says:

What are you talking about? The latest Potter movie received one of the best receptions so far…

  3. Darek-T says:

I agree that pulling trailers doesn’t make alot of sense but this time it does.
This was probably pulled cause it was supposed to the “exclusive” on the DVD of Half blood prince and incentive to go out and buy it.

    • Josh Miller says:

Right, because a trailer is going to make people BUY A DVD.

How stupid do they think we are, really? If you’re that interested in the Potter 7 trailer, you’re already going to have bought Potter 6.

      • Rodney says:

Uh… yeah. A trailer is enough to make you buy a DVD.

Knowing you can see it before anyone else might be the tipoff that makes you buy it now instead of waiting.

Yes. People do that. Which is why they tempt you with special features.

This is hardly a new tactic.

Cool, this is better then the last teaser. Now for someone like me, who hasn’t read any of the books, I know got an idea of what this chapter is about.

I think the last 3 Potter movies have been great and can’t wait for the next one.

  5. 420BAND says:

I know that the young actors are older now and all,(buy the looks of the image) but they clearly shouldn’t include female menstral cycles in the movie

  6. meli says:

The kid are thinking we’ll actually hit up midnight showings for these last movies. I hope since they have split it into two movies that it will be great.

  7. Ross F says:

dude, the last movie was such a train wreck…i hope these last two are better

  8. Dragonslayer says:

I loved all the Harry Potter films and this one is gonna kick ass!

  9. Strider says:

I disagree strongly with the claim that “Half-Blood Prince” was a mediocre or bad movie. IMHO, it was one of the most satisfying of the Harry Potter movies. Michael Gambon, whose performances I have not particularly liked in the preceding movies, offers his best performance as Dumbledore. Finally we see the real wizard and headmaster of Hogwarts. Jim Broadbent’s subtle portrayal of Slughorn nearly steals the show. And Daniel Radcliffe continues to improve, and impress, as an actor. The tone is grey and dark, reflecting the story and the movement toward final confrontation with Voldemort.

Seems odd they would pull it, especially when it was on the Blu Ray, and I’m assuming the DVD for the better part of a few weeks now…

The trailer looks promising .. and I understand why some people are angry with WB on this trailer thing. If you want to include something in the DVD extra .. what about a behind the scenes or a 5 minute clip of some HP7 scenes .. aisey ..
