I too agree. It’s interesting that the studio completely screwed Lucas when it came to THX, a film which he was very passionate about. I think he described it as them “cutting the fingers off his baby”. He took it really hard and I honestly think that from that point on he didn’t want to make anything personal, or that he truly cares about, because he couldn’t go through that again. Which would make sense of the rather strange incident in the 70′s when Coppola essentially stole “Apocalypse Now” away from Lucas (a pet project that GL worked extensively on durring preproduction) but he didn’t do so much as to lift a finger to stop it.

It’s a shame, he seems very talented.
