Concept Art gives us First Peek at the Green Lantern Corp

Some very cool concept art has come out illustrating what some of the other Lantern Corp characters might look like!
Its great to see Tomar-Re, Abin Sur and of course KILLOWOG!! I hope they get Michael Clarke Duncan to voice him, because thats always how he has sounded in my head. And Tomar-Re doesn’t look at all ridiculous despite having a fish for a head.
If Mark Strong is Sinestro (likely), we will start seeing what he might look like in the digs and seeing these variations of the Lantern uniform, we can speculate what Reynolds will look like. Sounds like we will see Sinestro as a Lantern since he isn’t listed as the primary villain of this film. Part of what makes Sinestro such a great villain and rival for GL down the road is that Hal is the reason that Sinestro is booted from the Corp to begin with. Sinestro was originally Hal’s instructor in Green Lantern boot camp. I am fine with Sinestro not being the core villain of the first film as it sets him up perfectly for the sequel.
But look at that Killowog!!!

If they are just concepts it’s OK, but if they will use the same graphics level in the movie, well, they look awful.

Is it just me, or do the bottom two pictures look entirely too much like Mangalore’s from “The Fifth Element?”
I believe it just you then, Mangalore’s head design are more closer to bovine head, even down to the ear. While Killowog definitely similar in design to comic counterpart. He is one of more prominent member of GL corps and one of Hal’s best buddy in the team.
Kilowog’s first appearance in GL predates the Fifth Element by more than a decade. Considering the fact that production designs for the Fifth Element were handled by comic artist Jean Giraud (Moebius) and Jean-Claude Mézières, it’s possible that Kilowog’s look partly influenced their design of the Mangalores
These concept artworks seem ok . Looks like WB and DC Comics are taking this film very very seriously.Hope it stays faithful to the mythos of Green Lantern. I’d like to see the Manhunters , if they are to appear in this movie.
I want Salakk, Boodikka be in this Green Lantern film. Just wonder how those 12 Guardians look like on film.

Not feeling it yet. Probally cause when I think Comic Space Stuff I can only refer to Norrin Radd, the rest is just a retread of common space elements..BUT I’m hopeful.
it’s just a shame his story(surfer’s) was told(hacked) by Tim Story
