‘A-Team’ Trailer Now Online

Posted by on 08. 01. 2010in News Chat

I’ll just say it right now. I love Liam Neeson. He could be in Alvin and Chipmunks 3 “Simon taken hostage” and I would watch it. This brings us to the A-Team trailer. Now, as I was watching I noticed a couple things.

#1 Liam Neeson is a bad ass.
#2 Rampage actually seems to fit the part.
But #3.. #3 is what kind of bothered me. The trailer was going along pretty decent, better than expect. The last part though, the whole getting in the tank while falling to Earth and shooting another plane. What the corny hell was that?

I don’t know who you are. I don’t know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don’t have money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let my daughter go now, that’ll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don’t, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you.

With the A-Team

    Wikus Van de Merwe!

  2. Bill says:

I don’t know. It looks kind of cool and truthful to the original, plus it seems Liam Neeson is channeling George Peppard “I love it when a plan comes together” and the guy for Murdock is hilarious “If you look out the window, you will notice our right wing is on fire”

  3. Brock says:

summabitch they took it down already. I’ll see if I can find it

Click the link. That is what I did, and I got the trailer on Vimeo’s site directly. And for those who never saw the original series, how is:

“The last part though, the whole getting in the tank while falling to Earth and shooting another plane. What the corny hell was that?”

any different than some of the MacGuvyer stuff they would put together when trapped in a tool shed or something similar. Just as corny, but just as funny

Sharlto Copley looks great as Murdoch! My favorite character in the original so I’m quite pleased based on this quick impression.

  5. James says:

Some parts look like the movie was made in 1991 and some look extremely well done

  6. Slushie Man says:

Looks like an awesome good time

  7. Brock says:

    Back up :)

Underwhelming to say the least not that I had high hopes. That last scene is truly cringe worthy.

  9. Mike Mai says:

this trailer sucks, i’m about to have a seizure. terrible editing and cheesy narration. hope the film is better than this

Will this movie be good? This is where I bet it falls. In order of Least Good to Great…

    GI Joe
    Wolverine
    *A-TEAM*
    Star Trek
    The Dark Knight

In other words, it will be good, not great. But i’m definitely going to see it. What would it take to be great? It will have to be gritty and realistic, yet funny.

    Best.Neeson.quote.EVER!

  12. Brendan says:

Ugh, this trailer was nauseating- how many times can you fade in and out of black?

The film itself looks good but the editor is either a total amateur or was inebriated when he made this.

  13. War-Journalist says:

I’m actually reasonably excited. Thanks Brock

  14. Schulzy says:

Wow, that looks cooler than I thought it would. I’m in.

But am I the only one who thinks Liam Neeson doesn’t look right in the part? I love the guy, I think he’s a badass, but I feel like he’s not quite right for the part. I may easily chance my tune when I watch the movie…but it just bugs me a bit…

    • Schulzy says:

And based on District 9 and this trailer, I feel like Copley is an actor to watch. He seems to be hitting his roles out of the damn park.

  15. Jester says:

lol it was a good movie.

  16. Tiglet says:

00:30 … is that bruce willis????

  17. ThePeter says:

I’m gonna see this for sure. It looks like they’ve done a good job – unlike some other TV shows that were made into movies (ahem, Dukes of Hazard).

  18. 420BAND says:

Looks fun.. trailer has waaaay too many fade-outs but I’ll take what I can get..

  19. tzaylor says:

i love prison movies. I hope they draw that part of the plost out for a bit.

  20. Kaneda979 says:

Wow, looks much better then I expected this whole thing to turn out. Not the best trailer, but still pretty damn cool seems very true to the old series.
I just might have to go see it after all.
